Paul Gifford was my father Jack's younger brother. Their mother was Lillian Georgina Gifford (nee Jones).
ReplyDeleteApologizes for not getting back sooner. Had to write it down to establish the connection so you are the daughter of my father Jacks cousin who is also called Jack through the line of his Mothers sister. Dad has said that his mother and Lillian (your grandmother) were very close. Dad is now in a care home with short term memory loss, dementia. Off Tiengmouth west country. Your uncle Paul did a lot of research into the Gifford and surrounding family tree, without the use of internet no doubt.My father Jack was born in 1920, epic and part of that wonderful generation.
